The Studio explains itself through its labels; the Help menu and the small ⓘ beside titles open this documentation for the rest.
The Studio keeps its windows free of long explanations. Its labels, short tooltips and the warnings say what a control does; why, and how it fits with the rest, is here in the documentation. Two things in the app lead here.
The Help menu
Section titled “The Help menu”| Item | Opens |
|---|---|
| Live Producer Documentation (⌘?) | the home page of this documentation |
| Release Notes for version | what changed in the version you are running |
| Keyboard Shortcuts | Keyboard shortcuts |
| Get Support | Support: where to write and what to send |
The search field at the top of the Help menu is macOS’s own: it finds any command in the menus and points at it.
The help buttons
Section titled “The help buttons”Where a section or a row needs more than its labels, it has a small ⓘ: right of the section’s title when it is about the section, or at the end of the row when it is about that row (Keys on the Stream Deck page, Token on the Remote page). Hold the pointer over it to see what it explains (“Read more about captions in the documentation”); click it to open that page.
Which documentation opens
Section titled “Which documentation opens”The pages open in your browser, on the documentation that matches the platform the Studio is set to in Settings › Account: the Live Producer Platform opens docs.liveproducer.ai, UAT (Testing) opens the testing documentation, which describes what is about to be released. You do not need to be signed in.
